Chartered in 1975, the Rotary Club of Charles County , La Plata is comprised of approximately fifty business, professional and community leaders. Our club hosts one fund raiser a year, the Lobster Festival, held this year on Sunday, September 28th at the Charles County Fairgrounds. The funds raised through this effort are used to fund college scholarships for local High School seniors and many other local charities and international relief efforts. The club holds weekly breakfast meetings on Wednesday's at 7:30am at the Outback Steakhouse
